Idea for my personal story

how would it go with the story if I should devour a soul of the demon Im fighting against and turn from what I've tried from Neutral Neutral to Neutral Chaos or Chaos Neutral to have me gain the powers of the Demon(s) in order to later on summon my once dead love from the Hell, for example in the 2nd or later chapter and that could become into a something of a plot continium?
